Speakers of very high efficiency (greater than 100db/watt) require a different approach to cable than less efficient designs. The desirable capacitance/resistance/inductance ratios vary from conventional speaker requirements. Given the importance of cables the best was sought and Chimera Labs was approached to help find the right cable for the Gran Sfera Speaker System. Together an optimum formula was derived. Internal cables for the Gran Sfera are supplied by them and their use in the system is recommended.
