Alto Horn Speaker
The Alto is a front horn developed with the Le Cleac'h expansion especially for dynamic drivers. Over 4000 calculations were used for a high resolution curve and great care was taken in fabrication to allow the practical application to closely approach the theoretical possibilities. The frequency response measures +/- 3db across its frequency range of 200hz to 17Khz with the Lowther A55. It is characterized by an open and dynamic presentation and, very unlike most horns, with a marked absence of typical distortions. Fibreglass was chosen for resonance characteristics and tone. The result is an involving, organic presentation with superior dynamics on both a large and small scale. It features a dedicated open baffle design which opens the presentation and increases the optimum listening area.
