The One Watt Trouser Flap
The Basso Horn MKII provides actual bass for first watt amplification as in the exotic low power valve amplifiers - 45, PX4, AD1, 801a, 2A3 and 300B. The horn consists of a Le Cleac'h expansion going down to 120hz. The back chamber is a ported and tuned bass reflex design housing a fifteen inch bass driver specifically designed for this application. The Basso has very low overhang and matches the upper bass to the midrange of the Alto. This provides for an open presentation. Concert halls have the space that can be depicted by the lower registers.
